Open Question: Is there an alternative to St. John’s wort for mild depression that doesn’t interfere with birth control?

I o-3 Cyclen, I'm looking for an over-the-counter treatment of mild depression. Hypericum perforatum sound almost perfect, but it will interfere with my birth control. Are there any other way, will have a similar effect?
